Project BG-RRP-4.020-0005: Sustainable energy renovation of the building of the "IVAN RADOEV" DRAMA AND PUPPET THEATRE, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility: Procedure BG-RRP-4.020 „Support for the sustainable energy renovation of public building stock for administrative services, culture and sport“
The aim of the investment proposal is the sustainable energy renovation of the building of the "Ivan Radoev" Drama and Puppet Theatre.
Specific aims: Improving the energy characteristics of the building through the application of highly efficient energy measures
- thermal insulation of external walls and roof, replacement of external windows and doors, installation of a highly efficient „air-to-air“ heat-pump system, construction of a photovoltaic system for the production of electricity for own needs, replacement of all lighting fixtures with LED;
- Reaching an energy-consumption class of at least „A“ after the application of energy-saving measures;
- Achieving at least 30% savings of primary energy for the building;
- Reducing energy-consumption costs, which will also lead to savings of public resources;
- Improving the conditions in the theatre’s premises both for the creative company and for the audience;
The main activities:
- An initial energy-efficiency audit and the preparation of a technical passport for the building;
- Preparation of a working design and assessment of its compliance under the Spatial Planning Act;
- Author’s and construction supervision under the Spatial Planning Act;
- Carrying out the construction works for the application of energy-efficiency measures;
- Preparation of an independent expert assessment after the completion of the construction works under the Energy Efficiency Act;
- Organisation and management of the investment project;
- Information and publicity
Implementation period: 30 months;
Total value of the project proposal: BGN 2,103,831.41
Requested funding (grant): BGN 1,908,351.41; Co-financing by the beneficiary: BGN 195,480.00

THE PLEVEN THEATRE IS A PARTNER IN A CONCEPT FOR MODERNISING THE CULTURAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE COUNTRY
